Rivian R2 Tow Hook Mount Instruction Guide

Follow the steps below to install and adjust a tow hook front license plate mount on a 2027 Rivian R2. We're here to help if you have questions or get stuck!

Installation Steps ➥

  • SnapPlate T10/T25 Screwdriver

    Step 1

    Insert the T10/T25 bit in the screwdriver handle with the larger T25 bit facing out.

    Note: If it's already installed with the T10 bit facing out, grab the bit and pull it out of the handle to flip it around.

    Step 2

    The tow hook mount can be installed on either side, so pick the side that you like best.

    Step 3

    Position the block with the R2 logo facing up inside your tow hook of choice.

    Step 4

    Position the plate mount with the EVERYAMP logo facing up over the block.

    Step 5

    Insert both of the longer (30mm) screws through the plate mount and block and tighten each just enough to engage with the nuts in the block.

    Important! Don't fully tighten one screw before starting the second or the block may get crooked and the second screw may not line up with the nut.

    If that happens, loosen the first screw, get the block straight, and then try the second screw again.

    Step 6

    Tighten both screws evenly by alternating each screw a few turns at a time until they are both tight.

    Step 7

    Install the license plate using four of the black or silver washer head (10mm) screws.
