After extensive testing, YouTuber Adam Davenport found that a plastic clip on the bottom of the Tesla Model 3 or Model Y cabin air filter helps keep moisture from saturating the filter and causing that foul rotten egg/vinegar/moldy/cheesy/feet smell! You can read more about how we fixed the bad smell in our personal Teslas here, but the TL;DR version is that evaporator cleaner and new filters get rid of the smelly bacteria and the clip acts as a moisture barrier to keep it from coming back.

The filters are weirdly tinted and the printed instructions are horrible. You should make an instructional video and put it on Utube.
The package was well packed.Despite application of the eva cleaning foam, the smell does not go off. I will buy more famous product and do the procedure again.

The product is a perfect solution to fixing the bad smell problem with Tesla cars. The filters are high quality and Everyamp has outstanding customer service.
The moisture clip install is not the best. You cannot put it on the bottom of the filter and then push it through the hole. You need to drop it into the cavity and flip it around until it is centered and facing up. Otherwise the overall install went very well. I did not have any issues getting the filters out/in and the supplied tools worked well. The foam was more than enough to fill the cavity and then some. I was unable to use all of it.
This clip provides the solution to the bad smell from the air intake system. It allows air to flow under the filters to dry the channel leading to the drain. I will even add height to the clip creating slightly more air flow.

A Good Product at a Fair Price that's Easy to Install. What's not to love.
So far it has done the job of what it said it was going to do - removed the nasty odor from our Tesla. The written instructions that came with it were not clear enough for me to follow, however the video to install was very thorough and filled in the gaps for me.
Kit came with everything to clean and replace the filters. Filters look open and behave as such. Hopefully the clip does the trick.
Clip seems to do well! It's looks like that youtube engineer guy recommends using the microban WIX filters along with the plastic clip. So an option to buy the WIX microban filters would be nice!
Time will tell whether this item will function as promised, but my interaction with EveryAmp was flawless and the installation was very simple. I will be very happy overall if the performance of the product matches the ease of the ordering and installation.

Bought two of these kits, one for the Model 3 and one for the Model Y. The tools were helpful, the filters matched the OEM original filters and the clip was easy to install. We are grateful that the vinegar-like smell is gone and don’t expect it back.
Had some Oder right after turning on the ac. Cleaned the heat exchanger, replaced the filters with these ones and added that orange clip and so far no Odor
