This filter produces strong weird vinegar smell! Everytime I turn on AC in my Rivian, I smell the vinegar in the air for at least a minute. After I replaced the original air conditioner filter back, the vinegar smell disappeared.

Smooth process from start to finish and quality product. Clear shipping updates and received at my doorstep quickly. Product was in good condition when received. I used the installation instructions provided on the website and installation only took about 10 minutes. Have run the AC in the cabin for a few days now and the air seems to smell better. Great product. When installing, be careful removing the intake cover. There are a lot of clips. I wasn’t as careful as I should’ve been. One of the Male clips came out of its holder and stayed in the female clip. Then I had to figure out how to remove it without damaging it. What worked best was a wire cutter. I just closed the cutter under the flanges on the Mail piece. Of course you don’t want to cut that in half so be careful. Then I was just able to lift it out of the female piece. The flanges were bent from a previous attempt so I just took the edges and put them in vise and bent them back to normal position.

Good fit. Charcoal filter is better than oem for muting smells frontbhe outside. Thanks, good product.

Just installed into my R1S. Appears to be of good quality and value as it was considerably less costly than the OEM part and tested out better in terms of filtering ability. Time will tell. Installation guide was simple to follow

Very well made, much better than the OEM filter

The quality of these is subjectively superior to OEM filter and the performance is objectively (confirmed by 3rd party test) superior. They are also cheaper. Everyone with an R1 should buy thus when it's time to replace. I'll go further amd say Rivian should make a deal with folks at EveryAmp to make these the OEM cabin air filter.

Nice craftsmanship, solidly constructed, installation was super easy with instructions given, and most importantly, the air is nice and fresh in my R1S

There was much discussion and debate about third party cabin filters effectiveness on the Rivianforums.com page. To help settle the debate, a third party engineer with testing equipment ran some test on several of the available filters including Rivian’s own. The everyamp filter came out on top of them all and it’s less expensive than the OEM. Nice to actually get what you’re promised and save a few bucks along the way. Super easy install. Putting one in our Lightning and Model Y too.

The filter fit just like the original and was simple enough to install. I didn't test the difference in airflow, but it wasn't enough to be noticeable. Hopefully it helps cut down on pollen next season.
