Super easy to install

We purchased the SnapPlate front license plate mount for our new Tesla Model Y Premium, Dolly, and couldn’t be happier with it.

Assembly was very easy, and mounting it on the car was even easier. I especially like that there’s absolutely no drilling required. I really didn’t want to drill holes in the front of our brand-new Tesla, and the SnapPlate was the perfect solution.

Once installed, it is extremely secure. There’s absolutely no vibration or movement, even at highway speeds. As an added benefit, it’s also easy to remove when I want to clean the front of the car and the area behind the plate.

Shipping was fast, everything arrived well packaged, and the quality is excellent.

Overall, we’re very happy with our purchase. It’s a well-designed, secure, no-drill solution that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. If you have a Tesla Model Y and need a front license plate mount, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the SnapPlate. Five stars from us!

I was very pleased with my plate holder. It is high quality and the instructions were super easy to follow and subsequently install on the front of the Tesla. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product to display your front license plate. it’s worth the price.

After ordering my SnapPlate, I received it less than a week later. It took me about 5 minutes to assemble it and install the license plate and less than a minute to attach it to my Juniper's grill. I was very pleased with the tool being part of the order. I keep it in my car so I can 'unlock' and remove the SnapPlate whenever I go to the carwash. It was easy to order, easy to assemble and attach as well as looking good on or off the car.

I received my license plate holder for my 2026 Y Juniper not too long after I ordered it. I was surprised by the box packaging due to it protective design for the parts. Easy to put together; all the need tools and hardware needed. Fit well when seated in the grill. I did some small adjustments using the provided tool. Solid fit. Secured with its side screws. I am impressed by the strength of the material and accuracy in the fit. No issues with this product. I previously sent the photo of my car. Looks sharp. Thank you.

It is four stars only because I removed the license plate as soon as I had my citation checked off by CHP. If I drove with it for longer than four hours, I might rate it five stars. It works as advertised. Five minutes to read the instructions and then mount the license plate to the holder. 30 seconds to mount the holder on the vehicle. About a minute and a half to tighten the security screw. CHP had no questions during their inspection.

I have both the 2020 and 2026 versions of the SnapPlate front license plate holders. The 2020 version can be a pain in the neck taking it off in advance of going through the self care wash and the safety/security screw tends to get somewhat loose over the years. The 2026 version is much easier to put on and take off, as it has two push buttons which slide in and out and may be made harder to push on and off with separate security screws. Both versions look much nicer than the cheap plastic front mounts that come with new Teslas (which I have never used).

I tried several different SnapPlates and nothing seemed to fit my Tesla. I chatted with customer service on a weekend. My information was sent up the chain, I shared pictures of their product and the front of my car. They immediately sent me a link for the proper SnapPlate along with a coupon. Note: My SnapPlate license plate holder has only been in place for ten days. If I can update after a year, I'll do so. For now, though, this was easier to install than any front plate holder I've had. Also it is totally NONDESCTRUCTIVE to the front of the car--which was my primary objective. If I move to one of the 22 states that do not require a front plate, I can take this off leaving no holes, marks, or residue.

It works decently enough, but $150 for a plastic frame is a bit excessive.

Pretty easy to install on a 2026 Tesla Model Y Juniper Performance. Build quality is good and doesn't weigh like a tank.

I have to admit I was skeptical when I first ordered the Snap Plate, but I was surprised at both how easy it was to assemble and mount. The fit is also very solid. Most importantly, I didn't have to **** holes into my new Model Y, which was my motivation in finding another solution.

While the price of the device is higher than I expected, the design and appearance are very nice. Nice find!!!
